Angela's Story:
I have had chronic pain most of my life. I have always ventured out on a
healing path trying to find a cure. Chronic pain is debilitating and can cause
depression. I was fortunate enough not to suffer from depression, always
maintaining an optimistic and happy go lucky attitude. I have been to many
Doctors, had lots of massage, Acupuncture, Rolfing, etc.. No relief! One day,
I decided to go on a long water fast, meditate, and cleanse my colon through
colonics. I fasted for a little over 3 1/2 weeks on only water. It helped make
my mind clearer, my body felt cleansed, and I definitely felt energized.
Unfortunately, my pain did not go away! Then, I did some research on an
alkalizing diet, so tried that and kept a journal. What I found is, the more
alkalizing my food was, the less pain I had. I started reading any and all
books I could find on alkaline diets, raw diets, etc... That led me to the
path of Living Foods. I have been on Living Foods ever since. I have an
endless supply of energy, Less pain!!, I look and feel great, and I lost
weight and I've kept the weight off. I used to suffer from restless leg
syndrome, something that runs in my family. It was awful! I would stay up half
the night into the wee hours, suffering endlessly from painful legs that
always felt as if they were running without me! That is the only way I know
how to describe it. I haven't had Restless Leg Syndrome since I have been raw.
YAY! I am staying on this for life, I never felt this good even when I was a
kid. I love helping people get on the road to health, it is my passion.
My advice: Get yourself a journal, GO Raw, and start living!
