The coach…

Jennifer “Anandi” Livingston

With an inborn distaste for meat and other animal products, Jennifer knew from an early age that eating animal flesh felt unnatural. When she was 14, she became 100% vegetarian. The energetic difference vegetarianism made in her life was “the red pill” that steered her towards her spiritual path. It was then that she began to study Quantum Physics. Bit by bit, the world took on a new, more wondrous form in her eyes. She taught herself yoga, began to meditate, and realized her passion for introducing other people to these new experiences also.

Jennifer studied Cultural Anthropology and Religion at Sweet Briar College. However, after finding no spiritual fulfillment in academia, she moved to the Satchidananda Ashram, Yogaville, to become a Living Yoga Trainee. There, she was given the Sanskrit name Anandi Devi, meaning Blissful Goddess. It was catharsis. Not long after that, she was first introduced to the concept of raw veganism by a book called, “The Sunfood Diet Success System”, by David Wolfe. Finally – The Holy Grail of her quest for the missing link in holistic health and fulfillment!

Immediately, she undertook the long and difficult process of becoming a raw foodist alone. The struggle of that experience taught her how crucial proper nutritional coaching and support are when adopting a raw diet and lifestyle. After all, becoming raw is more than a diet. It entails a lifestyle change so drastically opposed to one’s upbringing and cultural environment that doing so without nutritional and emotional guidance can be unnecessarily taxing both physically and emotionally. Radiance is every human being’s birthright. It should be an exciting adventure of exploration of one’s own infinite potential!

Anandi has worked as an organic gardener, a yoga teacher/meditation leader for children at the Association for Research and Enlightenment. She worked for the Gathering Business Coaching Consultancy in St. Augustine Florida, and as a personal raw chef at The Oxygen Den, a cleansing retreat in Birmingham, AL. She received her certifications as a raw chef, nutritionist, raw lifestyle coach, and raw fitness trainer from the Ekaya Institute of Living Foods www.TheRawVeganNetwork.com). Every one of those positions has prepared her to step into her next and most exciting adventure yet – to be a holistic lifestyle coach, bringing the Divine spark within each of her clients to its fullest unfiltered expression of vibrant passionate life!
